Há muito anos percorro o Brasil, investigando nossa exuberante biodiversidade. E algo que sempre me fascinou está no ambito das certezas e das superstições acerca do poder das ervas. Este aspecto, somado à própria relação do antigo Hospital Matarazzo com a vegetação de seu entorno, foi o propulsor das três instalações que apresento nos elevadores do Hotel Rosewood e que transformam, cada qual, em uma especie de herbário temático.
Articulando ludicamente conhecimentos ancestrais, crenças populares e aportes científicos, as obras criam, por meio da justaposição de desenhos, ambientes regidos pela fantasia em torno das plantas afrodisíacas, energéticas e alucinógenas da rica flora brasileira.

I have been traveling throughout Brazil for many years, investigating our exuberant biodiversity. Something that has always fascinated me is in the realm of certainties and superstitions related to the power of herbs. This aspect, besides the relationship of the former Matarazzo Hospital with its surrounding vegetation, was the trigger for the three installations that I present in the elevators of the Rosewood Hotel, which transform each one into a kind of thematic herbarium.
Playfully articulating ancestral knowledge, popular beliefs and scientific contributions, the works create, through the juxtaposition of drawings, environments ruled by the existing fantasy around the aphrodisiac, energetic and hallucinogenic plants from the abundant Brazilian flora.
